Bilingual notaries & certified translators

These administrative documents must be translated into the language of the client, by a certified translator registered on a list of judicial experts, or by a bilingual notary. The translation of legal documents is essential and needs to be irreproachable in notarial matters.
It may seem tempting (to reduce the costs) to have these legal documents translated by a colleague or a friend claiming to be bilingual… however, a simple mistake in a legal translation may be enough to change the outcome of a lawsuit and could end up costing you a lot of money!!
