According to the annual Safer report published at the end of May 2026, the average price of AOP vineyards in the Bordeaux-Aquitaine basin fell by 23.8% in 2025, after −18.4% in 2024, to €77,100 per hectare. A hectare of red Bordeaux dropped to €6,500 (−19% year on year), and the market for the most prestigious appellations remained almost at a standstill.
