Their work was even recognized by the Vieilles Maisons Françaises (French Old Houses Association). The castle has been listed as a Historical Monument since 1979. The castle is spread over three levels, comprising the central building and four square towers. There is a single main entrance on the ground floor, leading to the great hall, which is unfurnished (earthen floor, brick walls). It has remained as it was in the 13th century. The four towers on the ground floor have been converted into living spaces. They serve as: - a bedroom with exterior access - the boiler room - a storage room - a laundry room with a toilet. On the first floor is the living area: a landing with a large entrance closet, the reception room, the living/dining room, a fitted kitchen in the northwest tower, a bedroom with a dressing room and en-suite bathroom in the northeast tower, a second bedroom in the southwest tower, and an office in the southeast tower. The attic is located on the second floor. Near the château is an outbuilding with a lean-to. The garden, covering 5,087 m², surrounds the château and features boxwood and topiary. Renovations have included the installation of underfloor heating in the main rooms on the first floor. The electrical system has been updated, and the sanitation system is up to code. The listed status as a Historic Monument underscores the property's exceptional heritage value and also allows for tax benefits related to the restoration and preservation of heritage sites.
